Purpose
The OTB Board of Directors helps protect, guide, and grow the mission of Over the Bridge Future Fishers Foundation. Board members are expected to lead with integrity, keep the mission centered, and support the long-term health of the organization.
Mission Focus
Board members must support OTB’s purpose of connecting youth to their community, the outdoors, stewardship, mentorship, and opportunity. Every decision should reflect and protect that mission.
What We Ask of Board Members
Board members are expected to:

Support and uphold OTB’s mission, values, and reputation

Act in the best interest of OTB at all times

Attend board meetings consistently and come prepared

Participate in thoughtful discussion and decision-making

Maintain confidentiality when sensitive matters arise

Avoid conflicts of interest and disclose any that exist

Serve as a positive representative of OTB in the community

Offer their skills, experience, and relationships to help OTB grow responsibly

Support fundraising, partnerships, sponsorship development, and community engagement as able

Encourage strong governance, accountability, and transparency

Respect the roles of founders, leadership, volunteers, families, and youth served
